PATRICK WATSON (EN)
This journey begins with that Montreal-based band of travelers, composed of Patrick Watson (vocals, piano, harmonium), Robbie Kuster (drums), Mishka Stein (bass), and Simon Angell (guitar). After touring the wild hillsides of Canada, Patrick Watson embarks on a whole new journey in 2006 with the release of Close to Paradise. Receiving national and international acclaim as well as collaborating and sharing the stage with various renowned artists along the ride, they’re ready to gaze at the rest of the world.
Having a penchant for surreal acoustic landscapes, both organic and electronic, the band releases in April of 2009 Wooden Arms. Through this new album, the band scrapbooks their new songs, narrating the journey of a tour which took them to all four corners of the globe.

Le périple débute à Montréal avec ce groupe de voyageurs acoustiques, composé de Patrick Watson (piano, voix, harmonium), Robbie Kuster (batteries), Mishka Stein (basse) et Simon Angell (guitare). Après avoir parcouru la brousse sauvage canadienne lors de leur tournée, Patrick Watson embarque dans une nouvelle aventure en 2006 avec le lancement de Close to Paradise. Ayant pris le vent dans les voiles sur la scène nationale et internationale, le groupe collabore et partage les planches avec plusieurs artistes de renommée lors de ce voyage, prêts à contempler le reste du monde.
Souvent décrit comme ayant un penchant pour les paysages sonores irréels, à la fois organiques et électroniques, le groupe lance en avril 2009 Wooden Arms, à travers duquel ces explorateurs partagent de nouveaux titres qui narrent les périples de leur tournée, les ayant conduits aux quatre coins du globe.
